The Sundarban is the largest mangrove forest in the world. Its area is about 10,000 square kilometers. 60% of which is located in Bangladesh. The remaining 40% is located in West Bengal, India. Sajnekhali Watch Tower

Sajnekhali Watch Tower is a wildlife observation post located within the Sundarban National Park in West Bengal, India. It is one of the most popular watch towers. Where visitors can see wildlife like deer, monkeys, pigs, crocodiles, turtles, etc. as well as various species of birds. Here you will also find a small temple of Ban Bibi Devi, the revered mother of the forest. The main attraction here is the possible sighting of the Royal Bengal Tiger. There is also a watch tower here, which has a capacity of 20 people, you can climb it and you can enjoy the natural beauty of the forest.

Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower

Another notable place located in the Sundarban National Park is the Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower. This tower has a capacity of 25 people at a time. The only way to reach this place located in the forest is by boat. Now the authorities have created a small, beautiful plantation project with different species of plants. The four sides of this watch tower are covered with thick wire mesh, which will keep you away from wild animals. There is a freshwater pond here, where wild animals come to drink water. It has become a popular place for wildlife lovers.

Dobanki Watch Tower

Another prominent observation point located within the Sundarban National Park is the Do-Banki Watch Tower. It has a 496-meter-long canopy walk, 20 feet above the ground and surrounded by a 12-foot-high grill fence, which allows you to observe wildlife while walking and is completely protected from their attacks. There is also a freshwater pond here, which attracts wildlife to drink.

Netidhopani Watch Tower

This place is associated with the legend of Behula and Laxminder. It is known as the place where Netidhopani, known in the story of Behula and Laxminder, found his way to heaven and from where Behula found his way to heaven. There is a Shiva temple here, which is about 400 years old, also known as Netidhopani Temple. This place is also associated with King Pratapaditya. However, since it is located at the edge of the main area, free access is prohibited. Earlier it was open to tourists, but now it is open to a limited number of tourists. There is also a freshwater pond here, where wild animals come to drink water.

Burirdabri Watch Tower

Burirdabri Watch Tower in the Sundarban is a prominent watch tower, a tourist attraction located on the banks of the Raimangal River on the border of India and Bangladesh. It is the only place in the Sundarban where one can enjoy the Sundarban ecosystem by walking on the clay of the caged plains. Wildlife can be observed safely on the road. There is a good chance of seeing tigers, crocodiles, crabs, snails and other animals here.
