Detailed Day-wise Itinerary

5:00 AM: For the one-day Sundarbans tour, guests are requested to arrive by around 5:00 AM in front of the main gate of the Indian Museum near Park Street Metro Station. Our reporting time is 5:30 AM. From there, we will start our journey by car toward Godkhali, which is the gateway to the Sundarbans. It usually takes about three hours to reach there. On the way, we will stop briefly at a designated place where everyone can freshen up and enjoy a tea break.

8:30 AM to 9:00 AM: From this time, the most exciting and adventurous part of the one-day Sundarbans trip begins. We will board the boat and enter the mangrove forests of the Sundarbans. The boat will move through narrow creeks and winding river channels, allowing everyone to experience the true beauty and thrill of the Sundarbans from up close.

While traveling through the forest waterways, you may spot various kinds of wildlife such as saltwater crocodiles, spotted deer, monitor lizards, and many species of birds. If luck is on your side, you might even catch a distant glimpse of the Royal Bengal Tiger.

During a one-day Sundarbans tour, visitors are usually taken to three watch towers – Sajnekhali, Sudhanyakhali, and Dobanki. As the tour duration is limited, visiting additional locations beyond these is generally not included in this package.

To make the journey more comfortable and enjoyable, hot breakfast and lunch will be freshly prepared and served on the boat itself, allowing you to enjoy delicious food while experiencing the natural beauty of the Sundarbans.

4:00 AM to 5:00 AM: With this, the one-day Sundarbans tour comes to an end. Carrying the memorable experience of the unique mangrove forests and wildlife of the Sundarbans, it is now time to head back toward Kolkata.

8:00 AM to 9:00 AM: Reach Kolkata.

Porter or luggage carrying charges are not included.
Foreign (Non-Indian) tourists must pay a separate permit fee to enter the Sundarban Tiger Reserve.

During the Sundarbans trip, keep sunglasses, a hat, or sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun.
Carry sufficient cash, as the nearest ATM is located in Gosaba.
