Short Trip to Sundarban – 2 Days Tour Package

Detailed Day-wise Itinerary

8:00 AM: Our 2 days and 1 night Sundarban tour starts in the morning from Kolkata. The first pickup point is the Indian Museum near Park Street Metro. You must report here by 8:00 AM, and the vehicle will depart at 8:30 AM.

The second pickup point is P. C. Chandra Garden, Gate No. 1 (Science City area). The reporting time here is 8:30 AM, and the vehicle will depart at 9:00 AM.

After that, we will travel in a comfortable AC vehicle toward Godkhali, the gateway to the Sundarbans. The entire journey takes approximately three and a half hours. There will also be a short break on the way for tea and breakfast for the guests.

2:00 PM: Upon arriving in the Sundarbans area, you will check in at a comfortable hotel located by the riverside. The hotel is situated directly opposite the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve, in a peaceful setting surrounded by rural scenery, the river, and mangrove forests. Here you will be able to enjoy your vacation peacefully in the midst of nature.

2:30 PM: Fresh and delicious lunch will be served at the hotel.

4:00 PM: In the afternoon, you will be taken on a boat trip to a nearby bird sanctuary. While traveling along the river, you will be able to see various species of birds and enjoy the beautiful sunset view of the Sundarbans. After this trip, we will return to the hotel by around 6:00 PM.

07:00 PM: In the late afternoon, we will set out on a pleasant boat trip toward the Bird Sanctuary. During the journey, you will enjoy the rivers and natural environment of the Sundarbans, along with a breathtaking view of the sunset. After spending some time there, we will return to the hotel at around 6:00 PM.

08:00 PM: In the evening, there will be a special arrangement of a bonfire and light music for the guests during the winter season.

10:00 PM: After that, dinner will be served at the hotel, and you will stay there overnight.

7:30 AM: Our day will begin with a peaceful boat ride as we head toward the enchanting waterways of the Sundarbans.

8:30 AM: The official boat safari of the Sundarbans will start from Sajnekhali. Throughout the journey, a government-authorized forest department guide will accompany us to ensure our safety and share important information about the forest.

9:30 AM: Then the real adventure begins. We will travel through various rivers, islands, and narrow creeks of the Sundarbans such as Pirkhali, Sarikhali, Gazikhali, Deul Varani, and Bonbibi Varani. During this time, we will also visit the famous Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower located in the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve area.

In this region, various types of wildlife are often seen. Here you may spot spotted deer, crocodiles, monitor lizards, wild boars, snakes, and different species of birds. If luck favors us, you may even catch a glimpse of the pride of the Sundarbans – the Royal Bengal Tiger.

12:30 PM: We will arrive at the Dobanki Tiger Reserve area, one of the most attractive locations in the Sundarbans. Here you will find an approximately 896-meter-long canopy walk, which is an elevated pathway built inside the mangrove forest. While walking along this path, you can safely enjoy the beauty of the forest and occasionally spot wildlife.

1:30 PM: After that, we will travel by boat to the confluence of the Panchamukhi River, where five rivers meet together. It is an amazing place to enjoy the vast waters and natural beauty of the Sundarbans.

2:00 PM: At this time, a delicious lunch will be served, which can be enjoyed during the journey.

4:00 – 5:00 PM: With this, our 2 days and 1 night Sundarbans tour will come to an end. Afterward, we will begin our return journey to Kolkata with wonderful memories.

08:00 PM – 09:00 PM: You will reach Kolkata by evening, marking the completion of your 2 Days 1 Night Sundarban tour. We hope this journey through the rivers, forests, and wildlife of the Sundarbans leaves you with beautiful memories to cherish.

Menu Details

Breakfast: The morning breakfast will include sandwiches, sweets, mineral water (Bisleri), and hot tea, which will help start the day beautifully.

Lunch: At noon, delicious Bengali-style dishes will be served, including basmati rice, muri ghonto dal, fried items, vegetables, a prawn or vetki fish dish, chutney, papad, fresh salad, and sweets.

Evening Snacks: In the evening, chicken pakora or vegetable pakora will be served, along with salad and tea or coffee.

Dinner: Dinner will include fried rice, chili chicken, and salad, which is simple but very delicious.

Early Morning: At the start of the day, bed tea or coffee will be served along with biscuits, which are provided as a light morning refreshment.

Breakfast: The morning breakfast will include naan puri or puri, chana masala, sweets, and hot tea or coffee, which will give you energy at the start of the day.

Lunch: At lunchtime, basmati rice, dal, fried items, vegetables, a fish dish, chutney, papad, and fresh salad will be served, which will be delicious and fresh.

Evening Refreshment: In the evening, tea or coffee will be served with biscuits, which will bring light relaxation and refreshment during the journey.
